Demolished April 2015.

Enderle's Standard Service Station was constructed in 1959. The building is rectangular in plan and is clad in light grey and white porcelainized enamel panels with a flat roof with low parapet. The northeast corner of the building is clipped.

The east (service bay) elevation contains two aluminum-and-glass overhead service doors. Two large aluminum-and-glass storefront windows are located at the north end of the elevation. A wide sign reading "service" (possibly of plastic or vinyl) is located ablove the door heads and runs the full width of the elevation.

The northeast corner contains the office entry door. This one-light, wood-and-glass door is set in a metal frame. The door is topped with a square aluminum-and-glass transom. The large storefront windows on the east and north elevation "turn the corner" to create tall sidelights around the door. The corners are marked by a thin aluminum mullion, and the absence of a thick structural member creates a sense of a streamlined, taut wall surface.

The north (restroom) elevation contains a single large storefront window and exterior doors to the two restrooms. The flat-panel restroom doors are set in metal frames and are topped with square transoms, similar to the office entry door. The transom lights are translucent channel glass. The wall panel above each restroom door contains integral ventilation baffles.

A freestanding sign is located at the northeast corner of the property. The sign pole is rectangular in section and tapers inward towards the top (a characteristic design of Standard Oil station in the 1950s). the pole is capped with a streamlined trim moulding. The original sign has been removed, although its metal framework is still present above the pole. A rectangular BP gasoline sign is currently attached to the pole, below the framework of the original sign. Although the sign is not visible in the historic photo, its style suggests that it was probably installed at the time of the bulding's construction.

The station retains good integrity of materials, design and setting; embodies a distinctive construction techniques, i.e. porcelainized enamel panels over a steel frame; and represents a distinct property type.

Proposed adjacent project activities will realign Main St (STH 67) and Horicon St (STH 28) in front of the property. A portion of the northeast corner of the property may be acquired in order to accommodate improved turning radius at the corner of the roadways. Because of the potential impacts to the sign and the overall setting, a DOE is recommended.

The property was not previously surweyed. A new inventory record was created for it.
