Additional Information: | 2014- "This 1-story Tudor Revival gas/service station was constructed in 1932. It is rectangular in plan with wood shingle and vinyl siding and an asphalt-shingled gable roof. The front elevation faces north and features a long gable-roofed drive-through with wood pier supports. The main building mass has a steeply-pitched gable roof with steeply-pitched gable dormers on each slope. Stone veneered walls are located around the windows and doors. A rectangular addition with vinyl siding and a low-pitched gable roof has been constructed off of the rear elevation; this contains modern glass doors and shop windows. The building’s interior was not accessible at the time of survey. It currently functions as an outdoor eatery with a kitchen located inside the original part of the building." -"STH 42: Bluff Lane (Gibraltar) to Country Walk Dr (Sister Bay), WisDOT#4140-19-00, Prepared by Gail Klein, (2014). |
