Additional Information: | Pump house 2019- The county classifies this building as a utility shed and indicates it was built in 1925. It stands along the southern row of buildings, nearest the house. The rectangular-plan building has been significantly altered since added to the AHI in 2014 and was excluded from the 2019 Kenosha County intensive survey due to a lack of integrity. The shed roof overhang that projects from the east roof is historic; it shelters a porch with frame supports and mosquito-net walls. The walls and front-gable roof are faced with metal cladding. The front door and side windows are replacements. 2014- "This farmstead consists of 8 historic resources including a Front Gabled house [AHI#227911], bank barn complex [227912], two machine sheds [227917 and 227918], pump house [227915], garage [227914], granary [227916], and corn crib [227913]. The pump house was constructed c.1915. It is rectangular in plan with clapboard walls and an asphalt-shingled gable roof. A single doorway is located in the north elevation. A shed-roofed shelter projects from the east elevation." -"USH 45: 16th Ave to STH 50", WisDOT#3200-01-02, Prepared by Gail Klein, (2013). |
