NOTES
Additional Information:This 1 1/2 story Bungalow was constructed c.1922. It is rectangular in plan with brick walls and an asphalt-shingled side gabled
roof. The front elevation faces south and is asymmetrical in plan with a recessed front porch at the southeast
corner. The overhanging corner of the porch roof is supported by a brick pier. Inside the porch is a single front door and
a single-pane window; the porch is accessed by a short set of concrete steps. The remainder of the fagade contains a
bank of two 3-over-1 and two 4-over-1 windows. A large front-gabled dormer projects from the front roof slope. This
contains a bank of three new 1-over-1 windows and is clad in aluminum siding.

The building is in good condition and retains a moderate degree of integrity (the dormer
windows are all insensitive new replacements). The house is a fairly unremarkable representative of Bungalow
architecture and is not especially unique within the surrounding architectural context (69 other Bungalow houses have
been recorded in WHPD in the City of Racine and several others that have not been recorded are identifiable within the
surrounding neighborhood).

This building has not been previously surveyed. A new AHI record was created.
