NOTES
Additional Information:This 1-story Contemporary retail building was constructed c.1955. It is rectangular in plan with brick and clapboard walls
and a flat roof. The front elevation faces east and is asymmetrical in plan with an off-center front door and a pair of shop
windows above a built-in brick planter. An attached signboard runs along the southeast corner of the building and
projects above the roofline. A flat, built-in awning shelters the facade.

The building is in good condition and retains a fairly high degree of integrity. As a
Contemporary building, it is distinguished by its mixed building materials, built-in planter wall, and attached signboard.
Although it is clearly representative of Contemporary mid-century architecture, it does not possess an outstanding degree
of architectural interest or distinction and is not especially remarkable within the surrounding architectural context.

This building has not been previously surveyed. A new AHI record was created.
