NOTES
Additional Information:This 2-story Commercial Vernacular building was constructed c.1900. It is rectangular in plan (aside from the angled front
wall) with brick walls and a flat roof with a slight parapet along the facade. The front elevation faces east and is
asymmetrical in plan with a main recessed doorway flanked by large shop windows. A secondary doorway with a transom
window is located at the northern end of the facade. The second story contains three 1-over-1 windows separated by
brick pilasters. Above these windows is a stone belt course with brick corbelling below.

The building is in good condition and retains a moderate degree of integrity (the brick wall
below the shop windows is a recent replacement, the original transom above the primary entrance has been lost, and the
second-story windows appear to be recent replacements. Because of its diminished integrity, the building is not a
particularly fine representative of Commercial Vernacular architecture.

This building has not been previously surveyed. A new AHI record was created.
