NOTES
Additional Information:This 1 1/2 story Bungalow was constructed c.1918. It is rectangular in plan with aluminum siding and an asphalt-shingled
hopped roof. The front elevation faces east and is asymmetrical in plan with a 1-story, flat-roofed porch spanning the
width of the facade. The porch has a metal railing and is supported by tapered wooden piers that rest on square brick
piers. Inside the porch is a single doorway, a single-pane hopper window and a bank of three 3-over-1 windows. A
hipped roof dormer projects from the front roof slope. This contains a pair of 3-over-1 windows.

The building is in good condition, but retains only a moderate degree of integrity due to the
replacement or covering of the original wall material with aluminum siding. Although the house is easily recognizable as a
Bungalow form, its diminished integrity renders it a relatively poor example of the style. Finer representatives of
Bungalow architecture are located elsewhere in Racine (WHPD records 69 others in the city).

This building has not been previously surveyed. A new AHI record was created.
