Additional Information: | This 2-story Queen Anne house was constructed c.1900. It is irregular in plan with vinyl siding and asphalt-shingled hipped and gable roofs. The front elevation faces north and is asymmetrical in plan with a 2-story, gable-capped bay comprising its eastern half. This projecting bay contains 1-over-1 cutaway bay windows at the first and second stories; a larger picture window with a leaded glass transom is located at the center of the first story. The western half of the facade contains a 1-story entry porch with turned wood supports, newer wood railings, and an asphalt-shingled gable roof. Inside the porch is a pair of paneled doors with glazing in their upper halves. A small, square, leaded-glass window is located above the front porch. The building is in good condition, but retains a low degree of integrity due to the replacement or covering of the original wall material with vinyl siding and the reconstruction of part of the front porch. The house displays the somewhat irregular massing and cutaway bay and leaded glass windows typically associated with Queen Anne architecture. |
