Additional Information: | This 1-story Ranch house was constructed in 1963. It is rectangular in plan with aluminum and brick veneered walls and an asphalt-shingled side-gable roof. The front elevation faces north and is asymmetrical in plan with a 2-car garage bay at the east end, a recessed porch at the center, and a pair of 1-over-1 windows at the west end. Inside the porch are a single doorway and a picture window flanked by 1-over-1 windows; the surrounding wall is clad in brick veneer. The porch roof is a low-pitched front gable that projects from the main roofline; the roof overhang has exposed rafter ends and is supported by three narrow brick piers. A wide stone chimney protrudes from the center of the roof. The building is in good condition and retains a fairly high degree of integrity. The house displays the low-pitched roof with overhanging eaves, exposed rafter ends, and wide chimney mass associated with midcentury Ranch architecture, and is a fairly typical and unremarkable example of the style. |
