Additional Information: | The house is clad in vinyl siding. An open porch dominates the north facade; an enclosed porch is visible at the rear (south). In the 1890s, this farmstead was part of the estate of Theo. Shafer, for who little is known. Charles E. Edwards acquired the property sometime between 1902 and 1918. Edwards was born in Livingston County, New York in 1861 and married his wife Mary in 1888. The couple farmed the parcel into the 1930s and had four children. Also located on the property is a basement barn (AHI #229262). |
