Additional Information: | The vernacular farmhouse with Greek Revival influence has a two story gable and one story intersecting wing, and was built circa 1900-1910s. Both the two story section and the one story eave have stone foundations, but each has a different type of stone, suggesting different construction dates. The eave of the one story wing extends to create a shallow porch at the north main entrance, with two round posts at the top of poured concrete steps. Both sections have asphalt shingle roofing, aluminum siding, and 12-light windows at the first floor. The two story section also has narrow windows at both the attic and basement level, and a double-hung window at the second floor, as well as a central brick chimney. There is a one story gable garage addition with a roll-up door at the rear, and a farm bell is mounted on the garage’s ridge. Additional WHS AHI records for this location are #229705, 229708, 229710, 229720, and 229721. |
