Additional Information: | 2015- This one-and-one-half-story, side-gabled bungalow rises from a rock-faced, concrete block foundation and is largely sheathed with clapboard. A front-facing, gabled roof dormer is covered with wooden shingles, as are the gabled peaks to the north and south. An enclosed porch extends across the home’s east elevation and includes three-over-one-light sash. Exposed rafter tails and wooden knee bracing accent the roof line. Remaining windows are also three-over-one-light examples and are arranged singly and in pairs. A “matching” garage, also sheathed with clapboard and wooden shingles, is located to the rear (southwest). Assessor’s records indicate that the house was built circa 1920. Ownership as of the 1914, 1923 and a later 1920s-era plat map is somewhat unclear (the parcel includes multiple names but only a single square to note a building) and, until recently, the house was located within the Town of Nasewaupee (it is now within the city limits). As a result, no historic ownership information could be ascertained or confirmed via historic maps or directories. -"CTH C/Duluth Avenue Survey," WisDOT ID #4997-00-63, Prepared by Heritage Research, Ltd.
