Additional Information: | 2014: This c.1900, two-story, cross-gambrel house has a concrete foundation, wood clapboard siding, and asphalt-shingled roof. The front (west) facade features a recessed corner pent roof porch. Adjacent to the porch on the north elevation is a projecting three-sided bay. Windows are a mix of one-over-one wood and replacement sashes. They are grouped in pairs in the gambrel ends, which are sided with fish-scale shingles. An enclosed porch and small gable addition are attached to the rear of the house. The property also includes agricultural outbuildings. The c.1910 barn (AHI No. 229747) has a concrete foundation, vertical wood board siding, and gable roof with a hay hood and standing-seam metal sheathing. The c.1910 poultry house (AHI No. 229748) has a concrete foundation, drop siding, and gable roof with metal sheathing. The c.1940 gable garage has a concrete slab foundation, full-height sliding door, and metal siding and roof. Other structures from the historic period include a small gable shed and windmill. The remaining structures are modern, and include a large metal pole machine shed, smaller metal pole shed, and metal grain bin. 2022: No visible changes. |
