River Falls Journal, 26 May 1932: "Professor Russell Johnston has started excavation for the basement of his new home in Residence park. Professor Johnston will build an 8 room Colonial residence which will be a full 2-story structure and will have a basement about 35 x 27. A garage was built last year.
