Bibliographic References: | "New Owners Take Over Motel," River Falls Journal, 20 September 1973, A-8. Motel River Falls, 12-room & 3-apartment facility, taken over by Fred Riehle from Glen Stockman. It was identified in the article as started by Louis Florian and called the Florian Inn--however, the Florian Inn appeared to be only a restaurant. It was noted as sold to Al Flansha (and it was known as the Three Maples)--a permit is on file for construction by Flanscha in 1965 for $15,000. Flanscha then sold it to Stockmans in 1969. Additional permits indicates that construction ensued on the property in 1975 (6 units) and 1977 (10 units). |
