Additional Information: | 1982: DESCRIPTION: A low one-story front end gable clapboard verdnacular house somewhat late in date for its initially eaarly appearance. The asymmetrical front facade in bungaloid in character and features a small square multi-paned central window in the gabled attic and surrounded by a low wall. Exposed rafters run the length of the side where symmetrically arranged original windows are in place. This house type of one story with front end gable is commonly found in Ashland, but this example is highly unusual for its design. 2017: the house has been re-sheathed with vinyl and the peak window removed/covered over. |
