| Additional Information: | ALTERED FIRST STORY,MODERNE-LIKE FRIEZE AND CORNICE ABOVE WITH GEOMETRIC ORNAMENT 2021 - Resurveyed. This two-story brick commercial vernacular building was constructed in 1913. The altered storefront level is clad in replacement brick that closely matches the color of the original façade and contains two retail bays that share a canted entrance. Each space has a modern door and replacement display windows. To the right of the east retail bay is a recessed secondary entrance. The second story begins at a sandstone cornice line and is characterized by a brick frieze with stone accents. The building has a false front façade that extends above a decorative frieze and is partially clad in vinyl siding. It includes a stone plaque etched with the words "LOCKWOOD 19 BLOCK 13." |
