Resurveyed April 2016: Railings replaced.

The Weeks Road Bridge (historically, the West Street Bridge), was constructed in 1901. It is a six-span, coursed rubble limestone bridge that measures approximately 97 feet in length (excluding flared wingwalls) and 18 feet in width. Each of the six segmentally arched spans measures approximately 13 feet and rises about 4 feet above the water. Pointed cutwaters project from the north face of each pier. Iron rings are bonded into the masonry at each arch to secure the wooden posts that support the bridge’s metal railings. Although the original railings were likely of wood construction, these have since been replaced with pairs of standard horizontal metal rails that are connected to the wooden support posts by metal bolts. Standard metal beam guards are located along the sides of each approach.
