Window bands. Leaded glass in a geometric design associated with the Prairie School house was used in this low bungalow house type further characterized by the overhanging eaves and heavy vertical buttresses of the Prairie School. Ribbon windows, interesting massing of its low roofs, urns on the porch, and abstracted Classical pilasters. This vernacular house is significant as one of the very few houses in Chippewa Falls to show the influence of the Prairie School. |
