Additional Information:HEAVY BRACKETED CORNICE W/GABLED PARAPET. STEPPED DENTILS. POLYCHROME BRICKWORK. Later storefront remodeling evident in still intact prism glass transom.

Building was constrcuted in 1885 for Joel Pruyn, and housed a dry goods store run by his son, Judd B. Pruyn. The designer and general contractor was E. M. Hackett, then of Reedsburg, WI (LVN: 3/28/1885, p. 3).
