POLYGONAL TOWER W/LARGE PAVILION ROOF ON CNR. 2020: The Lewis House is a Queen Anne Style house that was designed by Lodi architect/contractor Carl C. Menes and built in 1902. The house sits well above Main St. (WIS 113) at the top of a landscaped hillside that steps down to street level, where there is a concrete sidewalk, a narrow grassed terrace, and concrete curb and gutter, and the historic boundary of the property corresponds to the lot’s parcel lines, which run along the back edge of the concrete sidewalk on the Main St. side of the parcel. "The steeply pitched roof and 3-sided turret of this Queen Anne style home are accented by shed dormers, giving it a distinctive cottage appearance. Many Lodi residents remember this home as the site of R.J. Hillier's "on-your-honor" produce stand. It was located at the foot of the driveway and stocked from the huge vegetable garden in the back yard."
