Additional Information: | Aluminum siding is the exterior fabric on this residence. It is 1, 1 1/2 and 2 stories with many additions. There are 3 gable roofs. The full enclosed front porch has a shed roof. The cornice is boxed. The barn is 2 stories with a rectangular plan. The gable roof has the eave side fcing the road and a box cornice. A cupola is at the roof center and there is a 2/2 window. Garage doors are 2 levels, one on the north 1st story and the other on the west second story. The second story has asbestos shingle exterior fabric and the 1st story is stone. The barn is one of the few left in New Richmond of this type. It is a good local example but has no outstanding architectural significance. See SC 29-15. The house's original integrity has been ruined by alterations. It has no architectural significance. |
