Additional Information: | 1982: DESCRIPTION: Unaltered green clapboard residence of two-story nearly square building with a longer, narrower one story extension toward rear of lot. Original porch with turned spindler and pillars intact. SIGNIFICANCE: This building is significant as the best local example of a period of construction in Ashland that commonly feature this type of house which can be characterized as a two-story front end gable house with an osymmetrical facade and a veranda. 2017: Porch posts replaced, new windows and new siding. |
