Additional Information: | THIS TWO-STORY RESIDENCE IS DESIGNED WITH A SQUARE PLAN CONFIGURATION AND A BRICK EXTERIOR. BROAD EAVES AND A LOW-PITCHED, HIPPED ROOF ARE CHARACTERISTICS OF THE PRAIRIE SCHOOL STYLE EVIDENT IN THIS DWELLING. THE FLAT ROOFED, FULL-LENGTH, FRONT PORCH IS SUPPORTED BY FLAIRED AND TRUNCATED PIERS ON BRICK BASES. THE OFF-CENTERED ENTRANCE IS FLANKED BY SIDE-LIGHTS. THIS HOUSE, BUILT IN C. 1910, IS PRESENTLY IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. (SEE BIB. REF. A). ALSO APPEARING ON THE SITE IS A GARAGE; IT HAS NO INTENSIVE SURVEY TO DESCRIBE IT. |
