NOTES
Additional Information:This two story Queen Anne house features an irregular shaped plan configuration, a cut stone and concrete block exterior, a clapboard and wood shingled exterior, a wood and cut stone trim, and an asphalt shingled gable and hip roof. Adorning attic story pediments are decorative wood shingles and pent roofed eave returns. A two sided porch has an open design and a hip roof. Short Tuscan porch columns rest on cut stone bases. Another side porch has its roof supported by turned posts. The residence is in good condition. A related building is a garage (GL 28/20). Architectural/Engineering Significance: This structure contributes to the significance of the Nathan Strong Park Historic District under Criterion C as a good example of a large, plain, late Queen Anne frame house with a Free Classic phase wrap around porch. At the rear is a good frame, 1920's style two-car garage.
