Additional Information: THIS ONE-STORY, RECTANGULAR-SHAPED, FLAT-ROOFED COMMERCIAL BUILDING IS DESIGNED IN THE FRONT WITH TWO WINDOWS WHICH FLANK AN ENTRANCE DOOR. THE WINDOW SILLS AND THE FOUNDATION ARE MADE OF STONE. BUILT IN C. 1930, THIS STRUCTURE IS CONSIDERED TO BE IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. HISTORICAL BACKGROUND: THIS SMALL STURCTURE, ERECTED IN C. 1930, WAS ORIGINALLY USED AS A MORTUARY AND FUNERAL CHAPEL AND CONNECTED WITH THE FURNITURE STORE THAT OCCUPIED A PORTION OF THE WILLIAMS BLOCK (101-105 N. IOWA STREET, 47/20), WHICH IS ATTACHED TO THE WEST. (SEE BIB. REF. A).
