Additional Information: | Clapboard is the exteriof fabric on this 2 1/2 story residence with Princess Anne details. The foundation is rock faced. There are endboards. The basic plan is square with one story rear addition. The hip roof has gables with fishscales and angular fishscales. One gable has a semi-circular window. There is a small frieze like front window. And the side windows are irregularly placed. There is a full front porch that is screened in and a plain frieze under the eaves. It is similar to SC29-21 (614 E. Second). Much of the integrity of this residence remains but it has no outstanding features that would give it architectural significance. |
