Additional Information: | This 2 story residence has aluminum siding exterior fabric. It is a homestead residence with colonial revival details. The gable end is facing the road and has shingled returns. There is a side wall dormer with shingled returns. There is a small square gable window with vertical panes. Windows have wide wood frames with an entablature. The plan is rectangular with one story rear addition. The full enclosed front porch has a hip roof. The house is similar to 704 E. Second (29-18). There is a Queen Anne front window. Alterations have detracted from the integrity of this residence. Better homestead residences can be seen here. This one has no architectural significance. |
