Additional Information: | Clapboard is the exterior fabric on this 2 1/2 story Princess Anne house. The foundation is rock faced. The plan is a Basillica one. There are endboards, a box cornice and a plain frieze under the eaves. The gabled roof has shingled returns. Fishscales and diamond pattern fishscales are in the gables. There is a 1 story rear addition. A front porch has been enclosed and has a hip roof. The gable woodwork is very nice on this home but alterations (window and porch) have detracted from the original integrity of this home. It has no architectutral significance because of this. |
