Additional Information:Four bays separated by pilasters and highlighted by round arches and keystones distinguish the facade of thsi classically inspired brick comemrcial building. The building was designed by J.C. Steinmann. Jr. in 1916 and built in 1916-1918 by Oswald Aultman, a New Glarus contractor (or Albert Wolf?). A small addition was added in 1919 to accommodate a new oven. This was originally designed as a bakery and has operated under various owners since April 1917. Those owners include: Albert Wolf, Gottieb Matzinger, Herman Matzinger, Coutrney Matzinger, Paul Vetterlis, John Ward and Howard Weber.
