Additional Information: | This 2 1/2 story house has clapboard exterior fabric and a rock faced foundation. The plan is rectangular and there is a rear addition. Fishscales are in the side pedimented gable. The gable roof has the eave facing the road and there is a front gable dormer with returns. A one story bay window is on the side. There is a small leaded glass front window. There are endboards and a box cornice. Window frames are wood and the frieze is plain. There is a screened in front porch with round columns. The detailing on this house is colonial revival. It is a good example of this type of home even if it is not architecturally distinctive or significant. |
