Additional Information: | This 1 1/2 story homestead residence has a gable roof with the gable end facing the road. It has clapboard exterior fabric. The plan is rectangular with rear additions. Foundation is rock faced. There is a plain frieze under the eave. Window frames are wide wood and have an entablature. The full enclosed front porch has a hip roof and 2/2 horizontal pane windows. There is a gable window.s There is a box cornice and endboards. Some of the integrity of this building has been lost through additions. There are finer examples of this style in the city and this particular one has no architectural significance. |
