Additional Information: | This 1 1/2 story homestead residence hsa clapboard exterior fabric and Colonial revival details. The plan is half-Basillica. The gable roof has shingled returns and a box cornice. There is a plain frieze and endboards. There are geometric patterned fishscales in the gable. Windows are wide wood frames with an entablature. The full front porch has a hip roof and round columns with capitals. Much of the integrity of this homestead remains an the gable woodwork is an unusual design for the area. The house, however, is a popular style of which better examples exist. This one has no architectural significance. |
