Additional Information: | Clapboard is the exterior fabric on this 2 story homestead residence. The plan is rectangular. The gable roof has the gable end facing the road. The cornice is boxed and there aer endboards and a plain frieze under the eaves. The full front porch is enclosed and has a hip roof; there is a side addition. The front gable has a diamond shaped window. The windows have an entablature head. The homestead style is common in New Richmond and there are better examples than this one. It has no architectural significance. |
