Additional Information: | Irregular 1 1/2 story Queen Anne with asbestos siding, gable roof with boxed cornice, friezeboard and heavy mill work in gables, concrete stucco foundation, arched 1/1 windows in gables, rectangular 1/1 and 2/2 windows, two windows on each of the east and west side have scalloped shelf lintels small arched windows are found on east side vestibules, open east side porch with stoop, chamfered square posts and brackets, closed porch added to east side, polygonal bay with boxed cornice and entablature frieze south side, decorative leaded and stained glass transom over entrance door, garage attached to north side. 2018 This one-and-one-half story, irregular-plan residence was constructed c.1880. The walls are clad in narrow lap wood siding and rest on a concrete-block foundation. The cross-gable roof is clad in asphalt shingles and features a central brick chimney and decorative vergeboard. A flat-roof entryway is located on the front (south) facade. The porch is supported by square wooden columns with decorative brackets, and it shelters a door with a transom. The front facade also features a three-part bay window. Windows are generally one-over-one, double-hung, replacement sash in paired configurations. Some windows located on the front facade and side (east) elevation have rounded arches. The east elevation also features an enclosed porch. An attached garage addition clad in vinyl siding is located at the rear (north) elevation. The building was clad in asbestos during the 1983 survey, but the asbestos has since been removed to reveal original wood siding. |
