Additional Information:This two story frame represents one of the best preserved examples of the simplified Queen Anne style in Janesville. It has horizontal siding, a gable roof, overhanging eaves, fish scale shingles in the gable ends and under the windows, stained glass transoms, and spindle work in the front gable end. Built in about 1885 for H.D. Kimball, listed in the 1891 city directory as manager of the Janesville Machine Company's retail department.
