NOTES
Additional Information:The F in the photo codes is for Fox Canal Survey.

Previously surveyed in 1990.

This house was originally owned by Emil Metzig and his wife Augusta. Emil and his brother Gus ran Metzig Bros., an agricultural implements store on Broadway Street. The Metzigs are believed to have retained the house until selling in the mid 1950s. In 1957, and under the ownership of Mr. Ernest Kretsmann, the home was converted for use as a duplex. In 199, the house was completely remodeled. The entire first floor was gutted and a second floor addition was constructed. The clapboard siding was removed and vinyl siding and new windows and doors were installed.
