Additional Information:Yahn operated a meat market on W. Milwaukee Street. Michael Murphy, who also resided in the house, was a lawyer and served as city treasurer.

"This Queen Anne style house has a prominent shingled corner tower capped with a finial. A sunburst motif, a popular Queen Anne device, is worked into the treatment of the front windows. Dozens of wooden rosettes were applied to the frieze and window trim of the building. Murphy was a lawyer and served an City Treasurer."
