Additional Information: | Constructed of brick, this essentially one story cube house is topped with a truncated hipped roof. A modestly pitched, hipped roof extends across the primary (north) façade. Porch supports are simple wooden columns; the original wooden balustrade remains only at the west and east ends of the porch. A single door is located at the center, while a single one-over-one light sash is located to either side of the entrance. Windows throughout the house appear to be one-over-one light sashes, all of which are topped with a slightly pedimented head and underscored by a simple lug sill. A wide cornice (covered with aluminum) encircles the home beneath the roofline. The house is built into the hill and features a lower level, as well as a two story, vinyl sided, hipped roof addition to the rear. The building was converted into a duplex in the 1980s. |
