NOTES
Additional Information:This one and one half story bungalow features a rectangular shaped plan configuration, a concrete foundation, an aluminum sided exterior, a wood tirm and an asphalt shingled gable roof with dormers. Massive braces support the wide overhaning eaves on the front gable. On the first story is a full lenght, screened, inset porch whose elements include squared posts on aluminum sided bases and a metal railing. A screened balcony appears above this porch, and is detailed with a balustrade. The residence is in good condition. A related building is a garage. Architectural/Engineering Significance: This structure contributes to the significance of the Nathan Strong Park Historic District under Criterion C as a good example of a Craftsman bungalow with a fine front porch, and with an inset airing porch in the gable over it. The house retains its interesting craftsman sash and features in spite of the installation of aluminum siding over the original clapboards.
