NOTES
Additional Information:This two story Greek Revival styled house features a square shaped plan configuration (with an addition), a concrete foundation, a brick and aluminum sided exterior, a wood tirm and an asphalt shingled hip roof with a gable. Pointed arch lintels adorn not only the windows, but also the front door. Spanning nearly the full lenght of the facade is a porch whose shed roof is supported by turned columns. The residence is in poor condition. A garage is a related building. Architectural/Engineering Significance: This structure contribues to the significance of the Nathan Strong Park Historic District under Criterion C as a small rare, example of a cubical Greek Revival style brick village house with a hipped roof. This chaste example of a transitional Greek Revival cottage still displays its deep classical cornice, prdimented lintels and the pure symmetry typical of the style.
