NOTES
Additional Information:Another map code is 2/26, found on the DOT map. This two story Italianate house is in poor condition. It features a rectangular shaped plan configuration (with additions), a stone, fieldstone and concrete foundation, a brick and clapboard exterior, a wood, brick and concrete trim, and an asphalt shingled hip roof. Brakcets with pendants distinguish the second story eave line. The residence is in poor condition. Architectural/Engineering Significance: This structure contributes to the significance of the Nathan Strong Park Historic District under Criterion C as an interesting example of a small Italianate brick house remodelled in the early 20th century by the addtion of a side porch and entrance and the refenestration of the first floor facade. The house shows the effect of changing tastes over time in its early 20th century first floor treatment and intact upper story Italianate character.
