NOTES
Additional Information:This one and one half story Queen Anne house featues a rectangular shaped plan configuration with an addition, a granite stone foundation, a clapboard and wood shingled exterior, a wood trim and an asphalt shingled gable roof with dormers. Spanning the full lenght of the facade is an open porch, detailed with a hip roof, bracketed and turned columns, a wooden railing and latticed porch base. Segmental arches appear between the porch columns. The residence is in fair condition. Architectural/Engineering Significance: This structure contirubtes to the significance of the Nathan Strong Park Historic District under Criterion C as a modest Queen Anne cottage with a wrap-around veranda. There have been extensive alterations to the first floor windows and the porch detailing does not appear to be original, but the house still conveys the image of a late Queen Anne cottage and contributes to the character of the district.
