NOTES
Additional Information:This two story Queen Anne house features an iregular shaped plan configuration, a granite stone foundation, a clapboard and wood shingled exterior, a wood trim and an asphalt shingled gable and hip roof. The front and side elevations have projecting two story bays, each of which is capped by a gabled roof. Many of the windows throughout the house, as well as the front door, have moulded lintels. Spanning the full length of the facade is an open designed front porch. Its flat roof is supported by paired Ionic columns which rest on clapbaorded bases. The residence is in poor condition. A related building is a garage. Architectural/Engineering Significance: This structure contributes to the significance of the Nathan Strong Park Historic District under Criterion C as a late Queen Anne middle class house of the Free Classic type with a fine front porch with paired Ionic columns. The gables are ornamentally shingled.
