Additional Information: | This two story Queen Anne house features an irregular shaped plan configuration, a granite stone and concrete block foundation, a clapboard and wood shingled exterior, a wood trim and an asphalt shingled gable and hip roof. Multiple two story bays are visible, with wood shingles detailing the attic story gables. Distinguishing the facade is a two sided porch. Its hipped and pedimented roof is supported by turned columns. A balustraded railing and latticework on the porch base are other porch elements. The residence is in fair condition. A garage is a related building. Architectural/Engineering Significance: This structure contributes to the significance of the Nathan Strong Park Historic District under Criterion C as a fine example of a Queen Anne house that has been preserved virtually without significant change since it was built. |
