NOTES
Additional Information:This one and one half story gabled ell house features a T-shaped plan configuration with additions, a concrete foundation, a vinyl sided and wood shingled exterior, a wood trim and an asphalt shingled shed and multi-gabled roof. Queen Anne elements are visible in the design: decorative shingles adorn the upper portion of the front gable, and windows on the facade have detailed mullions and lintels. The residence is in fair condition. A related building is a garage. Arhcitectural/Engineering Significance: This structure contributes to the significance of the Nathan Strong Park Historic Distirct under Criterion C as a modest example of a Queen Anne cottage. Although the side porch has been enclosed to form a vestibule and the wood siding covered with vinyl siding the house still displays enough original features, including ornate window enframements and fishcale shingling, to convey a period appearance.
