NOTES
Additional Information:Another map code is 4/2, found on the DOT map. This one story house displays both Greek Revival and Queen Anne styled elements. It features a rectangular shaped plan configuration with an addition, a concrete foundation, a clapboard exterior, a wood trim and a metal covered hip and gabled roof. Distinguishing the facade are two porches, one of which is gabled with a spindled frieze, a pediment and turned columns. The other is an inset porch with elaborate detail: both spindles and pierced woodwork adorn the frieze. The porch supports used, as in the other porch, are turned columns. The residence is in fair condition. A related building is a garage Architectural/Engineering Significance: This structure contributues to the significance of the Nathan Storng Park Historic District under Criterion C as an unusual example of a small, Greek Revival one-story villa with Queen Anne porches and rear additions. This is a rare example of a little seen Greek Revival house type: the one story, hip-roofed cube with a deep entablature and peaked window enframements.
