Additional Information: | This house was first known to have been occupied by Mrs. Mildred Hunt in 1915-1916. Mildred was the widow of Leigh Hunt, a former bookkeeper at the dry goods/ladies ready-to-wear store of W. G. Groffman on Huron Street. Assessor's records note that Chris Knutson was the owner of the home in the 1940s. Later owners include Elsa Peterson and Norman & Anita Ursin (1965-1976). Donald and Maryls Pearson owned the house from 1976 until at least 2002. In 1981, the Pearsons tore down the barn formerly located on the premises and they constructed the new deck and the rear of the home. |
