Additional Information: | It appears that Edgar L. Knutson and his wife Catherine were the original owners. The Knutson's then passed the home on to their son Chris. By the 1960s, the home was remodeled for use as the Boyd Funeral Home, owned by John and Edna Boyd. The business changed hands by the 1970s, and the name changed to the Barbola-Marchant Funeral Home. After erecting a new funeral home, the subject structure was sold to Steven and Cathleen Sponholtz in 1987, and they lived there until at least 2002, using the house for their business, Sponholtz Photography. |
