Additional Information: | The original owner appears to be Christ Armstrong. Armstrong was an engineer and was noted as living here along with his wife Elmina and at least two sons, Willie and Harry. The Armstrong family remained in the home until at least 1915-1916. The next known owner was George Bruegger, who was followed by Arnold Lunow. It was during Lunow's tenure that the porch was enclosed (1953), the former barns were removed and a new garage was built (1956). In 1988, the current vinyl siding replaced the previous asbestos sheathing. Betty Van Sistine, who lived in the house in 2002, has occupied the home since the 1970s. |
